Bob Bolduc

Bob Bolduc joined APTEAN, through the acquisition of AXIS, in February of 2006.  At the time he was in the Customer Service department, focusing on the technical support, installation, training, and upgrade of AXIOM, and Progress products. Prior to joining AXIS Bob also held positions as Project Manager, Systems Administrator, Crystal and Results Report Writer, and ERP team lead for two AXIS customers.     Bob’s specialties include working on difficult upgrades and installations, which require thorough knowledge of the Progress language, database, and native operating system, he has worked with customers who have migrated from VMS to Windows Server 2003,  Linux to Windows  Server 2003, Linux to Windows Server 2008, and UNIX to Windows Server 2008. He has over twenty years experience in the configuration, assembly, installation, and administration of servers on a variety of operating systems.   Bob has been doing Progress DBA, Performance Tuning, Windows, UNIX and Linux Systems Admin. Database Administrator, and Project Manager functions in a wide variety of business applications. Particularly interested in client/server relational database design using Progress, and MS-SQL Server. Always interested in migration projects, Windows to Linux, Linux to Windows, stand-alone to VMware. Specializing in complex upgrade projects. (Upgrading customers from older servers and versions of ERP software to current technologies and software releases.) 24 years experience with the Progress tool set.
